Berger stunts the crowd at a hot air balloon festival by playing songs from his
new album, "Endless Way", (available in a special limited edition)
and accompanying himself on the piano, while riding in a hot air balloon.This
event took place on the first of August 1999. At 6:30 PM. Robert was sitting in a balloon from Ruud Tibbert's Company
High Level Ballooning
Robert's crew (15 hard working men) began the preparations: setting up the piano
in the basket and forming a wireless connection between the piano on the balloon
and the PA system on the ground. At this time, the crowd of over 10,000 spectators
was watching the 20 other balloons take off. The last balloon was Robert's.
As the sun began to set, Robert and his piano were taking off. The crowd was
amazed and with the help of modern technology, they continued to enjoy Robert's
performance long after his balloon was out of sight.The total sound system was
