Robert Berger is a singer/songwriter. Most of his music is composed on a piano or keyboard. His eclectic repertoire includes rocksongs, ballads, blues as well as jazz pieces, folkmusic and even moviesoundtracks. Among his varied surces of inspirations Robert lists John Height, Tom Waits, Eric Satie and Buffy Saint Marie. Robert delivers a sensational show which incorporates many sensitive and moving piano solos. With his magnetic voice and unique personality Robert lures his audience into a magical atmosphere. He performs regularly in the Benelux countries and Germany, giving around 100 to 150 concerts per year. Besides performing and writing music, over the last few years Robert has also been gaining recognition through several surprising and impressive stunts he has launched, such as: traveling from the Hague (Netherlands) to Gambia (Africa), with his piano in a Mercedes-Unimog ATV, performing all along the way, including in the desert. And presenting his latest CD by playing the piano while riding in a hot air balloon, at the balloon festival of Joure, Netherlands. These events received quite a bit of media coverage. Robert has recorded many new solo songs, as well as collaborations with bands, in professional studios.
